Student Member: Makayla Brindle, a native and lifelong resident of Yorktown, Virginia, grew up with a love of books and history which inspired her to write. While she enjoys reading every genre (especially historical and fantasy), she enjoys writing them even more. Although she has yet to be published, one day she plans to have a whole series she can call her own.
